Enchant your audiences with this delightful intermediate arrangement for clarinet quintet of Harold Darke & Christina Rossetti's beautiful setting of the holiday classic "In the Bleak Midwinter"--instantly downloadable for your next holiday performance. This arrangement is perfect for any holiday celebration, event, recital, church service, or caroling gig. This charming setting of a British Evensong staple was written for most ensembles, from advanced high school quintets to college groups to amateur ensembles and professional quintets.

Written in 1909 while a student at the Royal College of Music in London, “In the Bleak Midwinter” has since become a holiday classic. According to BBC News, it was named the best Christmas carol in a 2008 poll of leading choirmasters and choral experts. As always, I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon. Originally a British choral holiday standard, I hope you enjoy this unique setting for winds, which will bring a touch of Olde England to your holiday celebrations.
