For Woodwind Quintet
🎄🎄🎄Ring in the holiday season with this intermediate arrangement for woodwind quintet of Al Stillman and Victor Young's "It's Christmas Time" from The Carpenter's Christmas Portrait--instantly downloadable for your next performance. The arrangement is ideal for holiday parties, events, recitals, or caroling gigs. It was written for most ensembles, from advanced high school groups to professional quintets. As always, I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon.
🎄Iconic pop duo The Carpenters recorded this lively and joyful song for their 1978 holiday album, A Christmas Portrait. The lyrics focus on the joy of caroling and festive Yuletide community celebrations. This rhythmical tune comes from The Great American Songbook and captures the bustling energy of a holiday crowd gathering in a snowy town square. Originally scored for a studio orchestra, I hope you enjoy this unique setting for winds of a classic American holiday tune.
