For Woodwind Quintet
Immerse your listeners in the world of Stephen Schwartz's iconic hit musical and movie Wicked with this intermediate woodwind quintet arrangement of the beautiful ballad "For Good"--instantly downloadable for your next performance. It's perfect for weddings, Pops concerts, movie-themed nights, Broadway-themed nights, children's concerts, or educational programming. This arrangement was written for advanced high school quintets, college ensembles, amateur groups, and professional quintets. As always, I have included an alternate bass clarinet in lieu of a missing bassoon.
With its beautiful Copland-esque opening, complete with open fifths and lush harmonies, and its beautiful duet between the two lead characters, Elphaba and Glinda, this uplifting, heartwarming, and charming arrangement will delight and enchant your audiences and leave them humming this tune all the way home. Originally written for a pit theater orchestra, I hope you enjoy this unique setting of a Broadway smash hit arranged for winds. Add this exceptional arrangement to your woodwind quintet library today. Your audiences will thank you!
