Blog Post 4: My Favorite March
In honor of Veterans’ Day this year, I would like to write a blog post sharing my thoughts about my favorite march, John Philip Sousa’s "The Black Horse Troop." I would also like to take a moment to thank all veterans for their selfless service to this great country. We would not be where we are today without the sacrifices made by our uniformed service members.
Blog Post 2: Polovtsian Dances Overture
Here are some thoughts on my arrangement of Alexander Borodin’s masterwork in orchestration, the “Polovtsian Dances Overture,” transcribed here for a woodwind quintet with optional percussion.
