This transcription of a Romantic Era work comes from an Italian symphonic march similar in style to the "Florentiner March" by Julius Fucik.

This march is a short, engaging piece that can break up a long program and give the ears a brief hiatus from some of the heavier pieces on the program. This version is written for clarinet quartet using an Eb; however, an alternate Bb part is included. It can be performed by advanced high school and college ensembles, as well as professional groups. This is a very Italian march; take your time and use the rubato where marked.
