from the animated holiday TV special A Charlie Brown Christmas
For clarinet quartet
🎄🎄🎄Ring in the holiday spirit with this advanced-intermediate arrangement for clarinet quartet of Vince Guaraldi's jazzy holiday classic, "Linus and Lucy," from A Charlie Brown Christmas--instantly downloadable for your next holiday performance. This arrangement is perfect for any holiday recital, event, party, or caroling gig. It was written for most advanced groups, from college quartets to professional ensembles. My clarinet quartets are written with equally weighted parts so that all Bb's play melody, harmony, and technical passages/obbligatos.
🎄Few melodies capture the pure joy of the season like Vince Guaraldi’s 'Linus and Lucy.' As the musical heart of the beloved 1965 special A Charlie Brown Christmas, it's instantly recognizable, syncopated bass motif and high-energy right-hand rhythm celebrate holiday nostalgia and put a smile on your face. It naturally invites your audience to revisit their happiest winter traditions and will put you in the holiday spirit! Originally scored for a jazz combo, I hope you enjoy this unique setting for clarinets.
